Falmouth Food Festival: An epicurean experience by the sea
Falmouth Food Festival returns this spring for its third year, celebrating the very best of the foodie world, right here by the sea.

Over the bank holiday weekend of 23rd-26th May, people are invited to swing by to experience something special, free of charge, whether you’re looking to sample some delicious food, discover your favourite new tipple, watch a masterchef in action, or simply meet up with family and friends for a great night out.

For the first time ever, the festival will stretch over four days and feature extended hours until 10pm on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday and until 6pm on Bank Holiday Monday.
Falmouth Food Festival has grown into one of Cornwall’s must-visit culinary celebrations, attracting food lovers from across the UK and beyond. With exciting new additions and an expanded schedule, this year’s festival is set to dazzle with a wealth of flavours, experiences and incredible music for the whole community to enjoy.

The Chef’s Theatre will be buzzing with live cooking demonstrations, interactive chef and producer talks, live fire-cooking, plus exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences, while some of Cornwall’s best food producers will be taking their products to the festival’s very own market. Expect gourmet delights, local seafood, sizzling smash burgers, and fresh, bubbling pizzas - and don’t forget to browse the trade stands for gifts or a little pick-me-up treat to take home.
Food isn’t the only thing to get excited about. The festival will also feature a vibrant line-up of live music from local bands and artists, who will be putting on a show to remember throughout the weekend.
Event organiser, Barney Farnworth said: “Something special is cooking. Never before have you seen such good food and music on Falmouth’s waterfront. We put all of our love and energy into these events, because we enjoy attending them ourselves. I’d like to invite everyone to come and celebrate FFF’s 3rd birthday throughout the Bank Holiday weekend!”
Event organiser Harry James Mills added: “Here we are again, you know the score. The best of food, music and creativity in the heart of our special town. More traders, more hours, more Falmouth Food Festival.”
