Red Arrows to make appearance at Falmouth Week
The Falmouth Town Team recently announced that the RAF Red Arrows will be providing a spectacular display once again at this year's Falmouth Week, set to take place in August.

Featuring 'thrilling aerobatics, colourful flypasts and precision teamwork', this special appearance is expected to leave audiences feeling an immense sense of pride for their town, with vantage points along Falmouth's seafront, including Pendennis Point, Cliff Road and Castle, Gyllyngvase and Swanpool beaches.
The display will be one of many exciting events taking place as part of Falmouth Week (8th-17th August), which has grown over the years from the humble sailing regatta that was established in 1837. The event is now considered one of the South West's premier summer festivals, offering a blend of world-class sailing and vibrant shoreside entertainment.
Squadron Leader Jon Bond, leading the nine-jet Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team as Red 1 in 2025,said: “Training for the Red Arrows’ 61st season is well underway, and we can’t wait to display for people this summer. Each season, we change our aerobatic show to ensure it remains dynamic, innovative and true to the Red Arrows’ pedigree of providing a non-stop, flowing and entertaining performance. Every member of the team hopes there will be a big crowd in Falmouth for our new show there – it’s brilliant to be returning to the vibrant coastal town in 2025.”
Speaking on behalf of the Falmouth Town Team, Richard Gates said: “We’ve worked hard behind the scenes on Falmouth Week planning and are thrilled to have secured the services of the Red Arrows once again. We know how much of a draw they are for residents and the thousands of visitors who come into town to see them. This is a great example of teamwork, with Falmouth Town Council and Falmouth BID working with numerous partners to make this happen. It will be busy that day so do plan ahead, make use of public transport and follow our updates on social media. Come into town early if you can and enjoy all that Falmouth has to offer.”
Falmouth Harbour will be supporting the event, providing vessels and personnel to ensure public safety during Falmouth Week and the Red Arrows display.
The Red Arrows air display will take place on Wednesday, 13th August at 6.15pm, subject to weather conditions and Civil Aviation Authority approval. More information an updates about the event can be found on Falmouth Week's social media and website.
