Take on the Beacon Beast this April
Calling all runners! The Beacon Beast Marathon - The Bodmin Way takes place on Sunday, 27th April, and is set to be even bigger and better than before.

Bodmin will host the unique not for profit marathon events/adventures, now also known as 'Beastie McBeastRace - The Beastly Half!’, which will be supported by many local and neighbouring area communities, groups and individuals. Excitingly, the Cornwall Multi-Terrain Race Series (MTRS) have asked for the marathon to become one of their events in 2025.

Over the last three years, organisers of the event have raised around £ 9,000 for local charities and community groups, and about 30 different local groups have benefitted from the surplus funds available.
During 2024’s event, Adam Holland entered on the day and came joint first. He has won more marathons/ultra marathons than anyone else in the UK and puts him in the top five in the world for marathon wins - he has run over 440 and counting, of which over 150 were sub 3 hours.
Organisers are encouraging everyone to take part in this much-loved community event, whether it’s running in the marathon itself, sponsoring the event, turning out to support participants around the route, or volunteering on the day.
