The dedicated litter picking team of volunteers had fun debating answers to some obscure questions like: ‘What is the name of the dentist's niece in the film Finding Nemo?’

“There wasn’t a hope of us getting that one!” said Gilly Arnold, the Great TiT of the Tidy it Team. “It was a wonderful surprise to be donated a new trolley. We now have three so we can load up and wheel instead of trying to carry everything.”

Bodmin BlueTiTs are incredibly grateful to receive the money raised at the Quiz Night and for the Crowdfunder Kelvin has set up. It will go towards equipment, plants for the town and the team’s afternoon tea treat courtesy of The Pad. As a reciprocal gesture, the team plan to support the amazing gaming venue and the tireless work Kelvin and Sam are putting into it, by attending some of The Pad’s regular events.

Litter picking update 2025: the running total of 227 bags of rubbish is currently beating last year’s score.
