Tresco to Host the First Festival of Wellness on the Isles of Scilly

Tresco, a serene retreat in the Isles of Scilly, will host the island’s inaugural Festival of Wellness from the 14th – 22nd of March 2025.

The week of wild wellbeing will offer a blend of activities carefully curated for all abilities, designed to nurture the mind, body, and soul following the winter months.

The rejuvenating classes and workshops will be led by renowned wellness practitioners and local experts, ensuring a completely unique experience in one of the UK’s most magical island settings.

Guests can enjoy a rich programme throughout the week including mindful meditation sessions led by island yogi Gem Hansen, invigorating trail runs showing the island from a new perspective with ultrarunner Wez Swain and immersive garden experiences with Andrew Lawson, Head Gardener of Tresco Abbey Garden.

“As any regular visitors will know, Tresco lends itself perfectly to wellness,” says Agnes Chapman Wills, Event Coordinator. “Here, we are surrounded by the elements, are guided by the rhythm of the tides and are part of a landscape that is simultaneously dramatic and peaceful.

The Festival of Wellness will offer guests a wonderful programme of events, in turn showcasing how we can benefit from nature and find tranquillity in our busy world.”

Beyond the daily activities, guests can embrace the Tresco lifestyle with beach walks and bike rides, laid back lunches at the Ruin Beach Café and hearty pub dinners at The New Inn.

Moreover, all accommodation includes access to the world-famous Tresco Abbey Garden and tranquil Tresco Island Spa.

Guests can choose from a range of cosy and delightful accommodation on Tresco, including rooms at The New Inn or self-catering cottages and apartments.
